This proposal is for a series of landscape interventions on a large estate in the hills focused on accentuating the beautiful existing property. One intervention includes a lush green ‘Portal’ to tie two properties together, providing visitors with a transformative experience as they enter one side through a grassy meadow and exit into a rich botanical garden. The second major intervention includes a landscaped amphitheater designed to host large events and act as a piece of landscape art within the site.
